Mäa Elmoghreb - ThünderVega & Saharage

? For the second episode of the fourth edition of Mäa Elmoghreb, we are pleased to welcome ThünderVega & Saharage.

ThünderVega is a space rock/stoner doom band based in Tunis, founded in 2016 as a variable solo project by bassist Walter "Vega" Rehouma. Cynthia Yahiaoui joined ThünderVega as a vocalist in 2019. We collaborate with drummer Selim Bouladi and also the “fire dancer” Myriam Marzouki for some live performances.

Saharage is an Indigenous Metal band that took shape in 2023, driven by the idea of Zaher Ben Abdallah and Mahdi Riahi, who, after participating in several projects, sought to reconnect with their roots. These two long-time friends combined their strengths and talents to offer cryptic riffs with broad African influences.
